ASD/ADHD DD Uni class issue…

My DD is at Uni first year. All has been well, assignments done in time, etc. Last night she tells me it will be a class discussion on a topic and she’s not happy as she’s no friends there…says she’ll struggle in an open environment with others.
I’m working soon today, she’s taken to her room, what do I do?
I don’t want her to fail but I don’t want to make her miserable…she has to go if she wants to do this…how do I persuade her?
I really can do without an argument with her right now…

Is hard but they do have to navigate it themselves. Is she registered with the support services team? Dd did get exemption from presentations during her first university attempt but she's now restarted and opted to go first in her year, she's a little older now obviously

It is hard but she did go…thankfully! She really isn’t good with group situations (I’m not that great myself so I do have to push myself but I’m not ASD of course). How I will continue to help navigate her through life I’ll never know.
