Hello, we are considering a move to either Herefordshire or Shropshire - we have two dogs and six hens and would love a bigger garden and a more rural location. We really like the Golden Triangle area - Hereford, Ledbury, Ross on Wye - but neither of us are from there and we don’t know anyone in that area. We currently live in Wiltshire and our son is 17. He is at a special school, because he has learning difficulties and ASD, but he is verbal and can read and write. He will be 18 when we move and we really want to find a place for him at some sort of college or other setting for him in Herefordshire so that he will not be at home all day, every day. He needs a lot of support and it doesn’t look likely that he’ll ever be able to work or be fully independent, but he could certainly volunteer or similar. If you have adult SN children and live in Herefordshire or Shropshire, I’d love to hear your advice. Thank you!
