Apps to help organise ASD/Dyspraxic DS

Can anyone recommend any apps or any tips to help DS be more organised at uni. He struggles with organising and ordering tasks, is very slow at completing things and doesn't really get how long it takes to do stuff.

Does DS get DSA? Does he get a mentor, study skills sessions and some kind of assistive tech such as Brain in Hand or Global Tasks?

He has a mentor but we're still working on the DSA. The Learning Support team weren't aware of him until we contacted them for something else. I've read about Brain in hand - is that only available via DSA?

When you say working on the DSA has DS actually applied? Did DS declare his needs on his UCAS application?

Brain in Hand isn’t only available via DSA, but it isn’t cheap.

Yes, the application went in in September. He fully declared on the UCAS application but the Learning Support team at uni weren't notified.

Has DS had his eligibility for DSA confirmed by SFE (or other funding body)? And has he had a needs assessment yet? If he applied in September he should have heard by now and if he hasn’t he should chase SFE (or other funding body).

No, no confirmation or assessment yet. I'll help him chase it. Thank you for your help. Smile
