Not invited to night out..

My already struggling DD looked on Facebook to see a few of her ‘so called’ friends going on a night out.

Wonderful! She’d already spoken to one of them just the other night suggesting a night out and was received with no reply.

I feel so sorry for her. She’s had a rough few years and now no real friendships.

I could cry for her.

It's just mean isn't it. I would take her out somewhere fun and try to get her focus in other things, Life is not about these people it is much bigger and better. She has a mum who loves her and this will pass. Take care of yourself too .

@fairlybalancedmum; I know it’s just crap isn’t it. We spent the evening binge watching a TV show she likes, as it was all I could think of as I felt sad for her. I’m not even a fan of the programme but didn’t want to leave her in her own. Thanks for your kind words, it means so much.
