Teen dd is dyslexic, slow processing speed. some sensory needs. Hyper mobile.
What she struggles with most us concentration and sleep.
Says that her brain is always really busy and finds it hard to switch it off to sleep.
Same with concentration/focus says she gets distracted so easily and finds it hard to concentrate. She actually finds it harder to concentrate when it's quiet. think anxiety is creeping in too. Gets very panicked and stressed easily.
So I did a bit of Googling
and wondered about ADHD? Other traits - untidy, very unorganised, poor time management, aversion to loud noises.
It's the sleep I would like a solution to as I think this has got worse the older she's got. I did wonder about buying melatonin but thought it maybe better to seem a professional route? Dyslexia was diagnosed privately after school did a short in school test which they asked me to follow up.
