My son is 18 has HFA. His main issues are with anxiety and social communication. He seems to have no ambitions or drive. He does minimal work and lives really day-to-day. He has a place at a local university to do a foundation degree but its hard to imagine how he will cope with self-directed studies. He really enjoyed NCS. I was wondering if anyone had been in a similar situation. I would love to see him doing some physical volunteer work or some kind of a programme with youth workers who can motivate and steer young people with special needs. I would really appreciate any ideas. Thanks.
