DS13 and obsession with sex

Just wondering if anyone has experience with an ASC (high-functioning) child who appears to have sex as a special interest?
Signs have been there from a young age (seeking information, wanting to understand the human body particularly the reproductive system), now shows as constant sex references, sexual language (almost like stimming) (but no outward inappropriate sexual behaviour). He is also now frequently trying to access porn, and I know it's often on his mind because of seeing the attempts to get round the online safety systems we have in place.
Grateful for any tips on how to manage this. It has been explained to me in the past that it could be a sensory issue. He also has OCD and it has also been suggested it's what he tries to do when distressed/gets the thought in his head.
How do I manage this? He's 13.

No good answer for you but I know an ASD adult in which this was not addressed early and it has blighted his life (not what you want to hear, I know). He now sees a therapist who specialises in both ASD and this kind of obsession which I think is helping.

Thanks - yes, I can imagine it won't go away...so hard trying to find others with similar experience...not something that people find easy to discuss!
