Would really appreciate some wisdom. I have a 12 year old DD who is on Equasym / Sertraline and despite the challenges, has been doing well at mainstream secondary and who have been great with her. She is currently awaiting an ASD assessment (suspect Aspergers). She has been complaining that her meds have not been working recently (on 20mg as isn't a fan of meds) and I suspect too low to be effective. She has also developed a vocal tic recently and am cautious about the impact of stimulant medication on "tics". Has anyone been in a similar position ? Feel like we need some time off meds and re-group for the summer term post a full medication review but any thoughts gratefully received. Very challenging with a teenager who needs the medication so much but is increasingly resistant (I want to be the authentic version of me....).
