Asperger's help

We have a very high functioning 19 year old who has Asperger's and ADHD and who lies and steals - we are concerned that if we can't get her to stop these behaviours that she is bound to end up in the criminal justice system. She has been in and out of therapy for years and we are beginning to feel hopeless and frightened for what lies ahead. Any recommendations are gratefully received!

I don't have any advice, sorry, but I can say I understand (a little) and just wanted to reply to let you know you're not alone. flowers]

We have a high functioning Asperger's DD who is going to uni in Sep (Covid willing). She has organised sharing a flat with others who will be on her course who she met on the interview day.

This is great, but they do not know that she stims, becomes distressed easily and is the messiest person on earth (think plates with mould etc) and she sees personal hygiene as personal choice unless she is going somewhere special ( and even then she may not bother unless I insist, which leads to a full scale meltdown first, then screaming capitulation :( ). Obviously she also has issues with friendships etc and is also averse to telling anyone she has ASD as she doesn't want to be thought of as 'different' or 'disabled'. She also has issues with being unable to budget. :(

I can forsee a lot of problems for her in the next year, but I can't do anything much to help.:(
