We have been to cahms and drs loads regarding dd's ongoing issues
She is being referred to be assessed for autism.

Her issues are :-

She gets obsessed with certain things -
Current obsessions are bears - she has loads of teddy bears!
She is obsessed with gaming!
She has melt downs, can get really upset over tiny things
Is a very fussy eater
Doesn't express feelings
Doesn't like cuddling

Hi unicornsrule
I saw your post and wondered what you're asking for? If you want confirmation that she 'sounds autistic' from the list you've given, no-one can tell you that online, but I'd say there's enough info there for her to have an assessment, which is in the pipeline.

I don't know how much you know about autism, but I'd advise you to read lots of articles. The diagnostic criteria are here www.autism.org.uk/about/diagnosis/children.aspx
don't forget, autism presents differently in girls, so do some reading around that for a more balanced outlook.

Sensory issues, this it a very informative pdf file and will help you to see her sensory development from being very young, I'll bet there are things you noticed at the time in her childhood but didn't understand what they were. www.falkirk.gov.uk/services/social-care/disabilities/docs/young-people/Making%20Sense%20of%20Sensory%20Behaviour.pdf?v=201507131117
