Anyone’s child with ADD on antidepressants

Anyone’s child on ADD meds and antidepressants? My son has ADD and now depression, just wondering if anyone else has had experience of this and whether antidepressants worked ok alongside ADD meds.

DD is now an adult, but antidepressants have never done anything for her and she's tried three. However, I do see the massive executive functioning problems - the forgetfulness, the disorganisation, the mess, the inability to comprehend...It's enough to make anybody depressed, that they can't function like everybody else and knowing the impact on relationships, studies, multi tasking, jobs....

Ds2 is on evansse for his ADHD and sertaline for anxiety and depression he's been on both for about 12 months now. So far they seem to work well and we haven't had any side effects from either of the meds and his moods are now more stable.

My DS is 15; he takes sertraline and elvanse. The elvanse seems to cause the worst side effects- lack of hunger, difficulty sleeping etc
