Can 18yo claim benefits now PIP has stopped?

My DD is 18 and works one day a week and is also studying online (is not classed as in education). Since she was 16 she’s received PIP but after the most recent assessment it’s been removed. She is looking for more work but will struggle to cope with lots of hours. She has ASD. Can she claim anything like Jobseeker’s Allowance? Thank you.

You/she can appeal the PIP decision. If you're out of time, apply again, use the online guides or CAB to help with the wording.

PIP does not bar you from claiming any other benefits, PIP is not means-tested. Perhaps visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau to see what benefits she is entitled to or look online www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators
