Had two 'friends' post this quote;
"In my day we didn't have adhd, we called them little bastards"
I did reply; Should I ignore the experts, and decades of research and tell my child this is what they are?!!
We also didn't 'use to have' diabetes.
Fucking heartbroken, angry, could be feeling redundant but won't give up

It is crazy the way that people who have no idea feel that they know better. I have seen this, fortunately not on my timeline. But I do know that some of my “friends” think that my DS just needs careful management. It really pisses me off but I tend to just avoid them!!

I was told my DC watched to much TV - we didn't have one.

I grew up without help as noone bothered to find out - I was told I was "just like Aunt X" - who nobody liked and who self medicated with alocohol.

Tell them to start using their brain or to ef off.
