Hi all I'm new here but wanted advice or your opinions.. Went to see my friend of almost 20yrs the other day with my DS who also has autism.
My friend was going on about her weight as she has put a bit on since Xmas, we were talking about lots of random things though. Then near the end of visit my rather loud autistic son shouting 'Fat' at her & pointed & laughed. Her children laughed & so did she a little bit, but I told him to stop & he done it again. With this we quickly left as was getting ready to go anyway & also didn't want it to get out of control. . I told her sorry & not to listen as he doesn't understand & just copies.
But since that day she has ignored my text messages, I know it probably hurt her but now I'm feeling hurt too & don't know what to do. Any thoughts ? & Thanks for reading. X

That’s tough for you.
She probably is feeling hurt but I’m sure she will get over it.
Give her a week or two then give her a call and I’m sure everything will be forgotten xx
