I have failed my daughter.

Twelve years old. Yet again she is unable to attend school. Physically can not walk in due to her anxiety. Can't speak to her peers but then is in agony as she had no friends.

What do you say to a kid who says no one would notice if I never went to school again when it is absolutely true.

Her future is bleak. We've tried so hard and nothing works and no one seems to able to help. We're just constantly back to square one.

Does she have any diagnoses, has she been fully assessed by competent professionals?

My dd's presentations were very much masked and her behaviour and academic work were "fine" so no-one was much help. I've had years and years of being fobbed off so know how it feels.

You haven't failed, you've just not knocked on the right doors yet Flowers

Don't give up. There are people out there who can help your daughter. Have school offered any advice? It's such a sad message to read I wish could help. I bit more information might get you more specific advice.
