Hi, I was wondering if anyone could advise me regarding my particular situation?
I have a court ordered shared residence order from 2011
My son, who is 16 and registered disabled, has lived with me for almost half the week (47%) since that time, and I am in receipt of carers allowance for him.
In all that time my ex wife, who has been in receipt of his disability benefits, has refused to share any, resulting in him being financially disadvantaged when residing with me. I would love him to be able to have access to his money 100% of the time, irrespective of who he is living with.
Is there anyone who might be able to give me some advice as I feel very helpless with nowhere to turn?
I am considering returning the matter to court under a specific issue order but not sure if it would be worth it?
