Getting an assessment for ASD

Hi. I wonder if anyone can help? We have suspected for some time that 16 year old DS may have Dyspraxia or/and ASD. He has been waiting for an assessment by CAMHS since April following an Overdose but they cannot give us any idea of how much longer we will have to wait.

Does anyone know anywhere in Shropshire that we can pay for a private assessment? We are near Telford.

My DS was diagnosed by this charity www.actionforaspergers.org/diagnostic-service/ it is about 100 miles from you so not close but less than 2 hours drive.
