I wondered if anyone could recommend a good book or other information source on toiletting for older children with autism. DS is 11, verbal and has some good skills but despite going to the toilet and using it properly, he will only do this when asked. We take him or tell him to go every 90mins or so. We think/know he has no concept of why he needs to go to the toilet rather than soil himself, but have been trying for 9 years to get him to understand when/how to recognise the signs. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.
