alternative source of nappies

DS, 11 years old gets napppies through the nappy service. He currently gets 5 a day but we always run out, as I am aware many of you do as well.

What I want to know is how anyone else gets around this?

Currently we buy huggies dry nites but they are not absorbent enough for more then one wee. I have searched in vain for an alternative but I can't find anything big and absorbent enough that I can buy. Did try the nappy service (NHS) but they refuse to sell us any extra we need and the supplier they use have also refused to get back to me.
I don't want more for free, I am currently paying 25 a month for drynites so would much prefer to buy a product which actually worked.

We buy Curity sleep pants size large (youth size) - a plain white pullup nappy. Similar cost to drynights but seem more absorbant. I order them online.

dont buy from pharmacyies as there far tooo costly
are they pull ups or tape ups, not that it really matters but

gompels.co.uk

is a very good and cheap site for ordering

Do they have to be in a pull up format? you get better absorbancy with a nappy
