I've read conflicting things about Abingdon House School in Purley but wonder if it might be an option. My child is high functioning ASD, very bright, good language skills, good social skills and has a wide network of neuro typical friends and peers. Just can't manage in a really busy school environment because of noise so needs a small setting. Has an EHCP. I'd like a setting with academic encouragement (5 GCSEs rather than functional skills) and a cohort where he can find his tribe. Any lived experience would be gratefully received. Thank you.
