Hello,
I claim carers allowance for my son and also work part time - I earn under the threshold currently.
There are some extra hours going in my workplace in a new department which I’d like to apply for - manly to gain extra and new experience.
These hours are only until July and would take me over the weekly earnings amount for carers allowance.
From July, I would be back to my normal working hours.
Of course I need to do this properly so I’m wondering how easy will it be to cancel my carers allowance and then re apply for it in July? Would I be allowed to do this?
