Thanks glittery, did see it, looks good! I shall pass the link on to my friend! And, ooooh, a thread, never had one of these lol!

Only thing I can see being an issue is price, but if that's the case, I shall simply keep googling I was recommended a bike shop as they'd have the clear plastic ones for bike wheels!

Cheers glittery!

for 20 or 24 inch wheel discs, you may find a bike shop that sell 2nd hand bikes would keep an eye open for you. They are somewhat out of fashion now, but can still be found on older childrens bikes. I bought some 2nd hand off a 2nd hand kids bike for just a pound or so from a friendly bike shop.

I have rooted about and found a video tutorial for making wheel disc from corrugated plastic board ( like for sale signs are made from) . Maybe H could take a look and see if its something she would be interested in doing/ getting some one to do for her wheels.

A text and pics how too for a different design is here www.instructables.com/id/Aerodynamic-Wheel-Disks---For-your-Bike/

Oooh UniS, those links are ace! We've actually said if we could find the materials, we'd make up a design and make our own, bit more personal like, so will have a look round for corregated board!
