DS roared "BUGGER" at the vicars wife today!

Oh the shame!

We were at holiday club at our church and all having a picnic in the churchyard afterwards, and the vicar's wife commented on a little 4 year boy's tan. To his dad's shame he said 'It's not all over! My bum and my willy are white!' DS (age 5 with limited speech and somewhat limited understanding but with a great love of rude words!), giggled with glee at the sound of the words bum and willy and squeaked 'rude! rude!' So I felt prompted to explain that he has a real 'little boy's toilet humour' at the moment, cultivated by his siblings.. at which DS took a deep breath, and shouted, "Rude! BUGGER!!!!!"

I hid my face! There was no mistaking what he said.. I had to admit we call him a 'little bugger' (well he IS one! Of the highest order!) but that his usual repertoire of 'rude words' consisted of 'bum, willy, naked, nappy and baby-wipes!' (the latter two which he has decided for himself are 'rude'! ) He has said bugger before.. but I hadn't quite expected him to say it then, stupidly!

Oooh just remembered when ds was about 3...and inlaws (very stiff) came to visit, he just kept shouting 'Bollox! Bollox! the entire afternoon.
I kept saying ' what are you saying?? that's a funny word!...and trying to distract ... but with no success whatsoever.

SleepyJess · 16/08/2005 18:47

My ds(3.5) has ASD and is pretty much non-verbal but you can here quite clearly "oh shit!" when something has gone wrong for him!! Maybe I should keep quiet!

My niece, then 4 yrs could not pronounce the letter 'S' instead it would come out 'F'

While in a shop one day, my neice was complaining that her daddy still had not finished decorating her room, my sister said he was naughty, to which my neice replied in a loud voice.........'I know I am going to fack my daddy's bum when I get home'

My poor sister was mortified.

was so glad in church on sunday that dd1 (nearly two) hasn't quite mastered the word 'boobies' as she loudly started going on about 'mummies babies' when i was feeding dd2...and it was a really quiet bit.

My dd is very into Noddy, and loves the goblins Sly and Gobbo. However, she can't quite pronounce Gobbo, and gets the G and the B sounds confused, so she goes round shouting 'SLY BUGGER'!!!
