A bit of a moan, sorry!

Went to an open air concert/one day music festival with my mum, my friend H, and 3 other friends today.

Annoyingly, we didn't spot the wheelchair platform til after the thing had finished, and no staff directed us to it, so we were in the crowd, quite close to the front.

The number of people who parked themselves in front of H's wheelchair was unbelievable. Now, I'm not expecting a clear line of sight by any means, neither was she, but this one guy, was about 6ft, and just stood right in front of her for absolutely ages. My mum had to CONSTANTLY tell him to be careful where he was stepping because countless times he nearly stepped on H's currently broken/plastered foot. S

Oooooh makes me seethe that people can be so selfish as to do that. We also had people, who HAD seen us, putting others on their shoulders in front of H.

Very annoying, but overall a lovely day and my mates really got on with each other, and with my mum, which was a bonus

However, praise to the friend and her boyfriend, who arrived before we did, and off their own backs, knowing about H being a wheelchair user and about my sight problems, text us saying, "We've secured a space down the front for us all, text when you're near and we'll direct you to us." Really made me smile that she and her boyfriend thought of us
