Seems the back of the Otto can be adjusted, not sure Major allows that or if it would be suitable for your DD.

Definitely not the Major. DS2 only has really severe problems with muscle tone and sitting when he is unwell, but then his Major is really no good for him, as it offers no head support and as Marvelous said, doesn't recline.

What are the good points of either???? anyone know...the thing I found with the Major was it was comfy to push, and folded well.... but obviously its goes more on whats good for DD. ANyone had experience of the Otto Bock???? its thro the wheelchair service....

Hi I have a Maclaren as well as other SN prams and wheelchairs. The negative of the maclaren is that to fold you have to take off the foot rest but I see on the eco buggy the foot rest stays on. (never seen an eco buggy before) Although we do have an otto bock kimba spring.
I know you have to buy all the accessories so check if the otto bock comes with anything as standard as the major you will need to buy everything from the padded seat cover, basket and raincover.

Good thing about the eco buggy is it does have more of a recline if that is needed?

Hope you make the best decision as it is so difficult to decide.
I am now trying to look for something similar to the major but with better leg support as my DD legs don't bend and we use pillows on the foot rest to prop her legs up. But still want something light and small to fold. But unable to find anything suitable.

I had otto buck for ds before he got his wheelchair the recline option was handy especially if tired .the seat was hard though so might want to look at a liner and ds found the otto buck sat lower so harder to see from

Out of the 2 I actually preferd the majour except for the footrest .but ds got fed up of buggy he prefers wheelchair is that not a option? Lot easier if use bused etc

havent actually discussed wheelchairs yet, its more just to get her from a to b if in a hurry or if really tired. they thought the otto may be better for her hips as loose, but then she wont be in it long, we either go in car or walk...she is in a maclaren triumph at the min... the foot rest thing did put me off the maclaren as did the no recline, as she does sometimes sleep... the otto seemed sturdier, but a pain to put up n take down, or does it just take getting used to??? do they get harder to push etc as they get older, they have said they can do the otto with the 5 point harness as that is a must..lol. Thanks for all your help so far guys xx
