tc, im so annoyed i missed you last night by 20mins! im glad you are sounding well and enjoying the big chill

i wanted to ask you something, its rather boring im afraid

i remember a while ago you were chatting about writing a letter to lotties nursery, the parents. i was just wondering if you had done it, and how it had been received, etc

my friend has a little 3 year old boy who has started the same playgroup as my dd1 (i didnt even know til we both turned up together yesterday for playgroups first day!). she was in a bit of a state and getting worried about what the other parents would be saying! she has written a letter but asked if me i thought it was necessary, the playgroup leaders dont think it is.

i have a feeling you just decided to leave it, am i right?

anyway, theres no hurry, you just 'chill' babe, and take care x

Hi hon;

Yes I was going to write the letter but after much deliberatoing I did leave it in the end.
I've chatted to a few of the mums I've had coffee with about it but that's it. they really are the most lovely bunch of women, there's only about 20 mums and I have chatted to them all and I think they are all pretty much clued up now so it all seemed a bit late in the day so I decided to leave it.

Hope your friend will be okay.

TC xxxxxxxx

Where are going to look, same area? I need to think about moving, but might have this baby first and then do it. will ahve to change cars too and think i'll worry about houses next year.

Glad you had a good holiday. I've never been to Greece, that I can remeber, will probably realise I 've been twice when I was in my teens, but really can't remember. So many people fall in love with Greece don't they. Sorry you'll be missing your brother and his family so much, that's gonna be horrid. But hey, holidays in Greece every year can't be bad aye.

Wells? never heard of it, or do you spell Wales funny?!

I want to stay in Pinner, love it there and can't afford to move away from my family who are my child carers and a huge support in so many ways.

Hmmm, Greece in November, how loverlie!

marthamoo · 11/08/2005 11:11

20 weeks? Surely not! Great news, TC

Nice to see a little flash of beetroot red on this thread too.

Thomcat · 11/08/2005 11:18

hey Marthamoo, hello lovely
21 weeks today actually!
Saw him/her on Tuesday, it was great.

marthamoo · 11/08/2005 11:19

Awwwwww - big silly grin on my face here, I'm so pleased, just can't believe you're halfway through. Has Lottie noticed yet?

Thomcat · 11/08/2005 11:25

She puts her hands either side of her mouth, puts her face up to my tummy and shouts 'Ello bebe' and kisses it!
Not sure she really understands, but it's very cute!

marthamoo · 11/08/2005 11:29

Oh how cute! No, she probably doesn't really 'get' it (I don't think even dh really got it when I was pregnant with ds1, lol!) but she will...in 19 weeks or so.
