Hi Guys,

I don't know if you want to do this, but on other boards I've been on we've sometimes had a daily thread, where we can just post idle chit chat about whatever we want to, without it having to be about something in particular....

If you guys want to, then the first one up in the morning just starts a new thread....

So here's my random thoughts.... My DH who's a stay at home Dad has had enough of the school holidays. While I totally sympathise, it just adds even more stress to the house. I guess I'm being unrealistic expecting him to cope all day with the 3 kids without getting stressed himself.

So when I got home from work I had to help DS1 with his homework. He has mild ASD and absolutely hates doing homework, so he just about had a melt down. Then he pretty much wrote what I told him - and I felt bad, because not only had he done a bad job and got stressed - it wasn't even his own work!

So then he dictated to me a long essay which I typed as fast as I could. We'll stick that into his homework book and see what his teacher says....

I know the feeling - just did DD1's maths homework for with her. She's not attending school just now so we've paid for a tutor to set it for her. That's definitely worse than it being school homework!
