Well looks like ds won't be getting a powerchair last Ot agreed yes she would fill in the form yes ds could do with a powerchair but the crunch is she feels it could be got cheaper like 2000 wish she let me know where and she will put in her letter that she feels the cost can't be justfied even though itscharity funding because that would be all the nhs would spend when ds hits 11

So basically ds is stuck with a manual chair that he struggled to move less I can find anyone to fill in the form we don't have community nurse either am fresh out of ideas

do you still see a health visitor or could the doctor do it maybe?

roundthebend4 · 24/05/2010 15:18

Hmm yes ds is still under health Vistor ty will ask her and know where to find her o. A Friday in open clinic

I seen the cheaper chairs they just dont compare to the snapdragon mind not see. Any for 2000 he'll that hardly pays for new manual chair

cant think of one at £2000?
cheapest i can think of is the Otto Bock Skippi but thats just under £4000 and doesnt go down low like the snapdragon does, its all very well getting a "cheap" one but it seems a waste if it wont do what you want it to do IYKWIM?
