Spoke to SS today and am having an assessment for DP's. Anyway we are def. eligible as dd is on the disability register, they just need to assess our situation.
I hope you don't mind me asking but what do you use yours for?

Jimjams · 06/08/2005 20:27

They pay for the insurance (it comes out of the dps- but there's enough in there)! And no you shouldn't have to pay.

anniebear, anyone making it sound like it costs you ANYTHING is either trying to put you off or doesn't know what they're talking about. Everything is covered by the amount they pay you, insurance, holiday pay etc. The paperwork and bank account takes a bit of setting up but you can't go wrong, it just takes a bit of time. GO FOR IT.
Hey Fio, big kick up the arse coming your way!
