Large buggies suitable for 5 year olds...

Spin off from my other thread about my DS and buggies, where somebody has mentioned a mini city jogger as an alternative to a major for my tall 4.5yo.
I also have 2yo who needs a buggy so am looking for a double.
Are there any other large buggies that would suit up to a 6yo child that come in a double version???

Have just seen baby jogger city mini double £314. Have read fairly large young children will fit. Try in mothercare to check fit.

They do the city jogger mini in a double. Although I can only vouch for single. Hope to help. Have a google it has good reviews. Maybe you are near a stockist to try it out. If you are north west Winstanleys of Wigan are stockists.South West Babyland Cheltenham very good.

I looked at a city jogger double at the weekend (even though i don't need one) and i don't think i could fit dd2 in it (4.1).

We used a Jane powertwin for a while when the dd's were younger and found the seats very wide, once dd1 grew out of it (wanted to walk) i bought a Jane powertrack for dd2 which i have just put on e-bay due to getting a maclaren major, dd1 (6) will fit into the jane but i'm selling it because it takes up a lot of room in the boot of my car.

Mountain buggy's are great if you can pick one up 2nd hand (as they cost a fortune new), they also do a larger one for SN's children and a double

I love my Maclaren Major, i was wary about getting one as dd2 is capable of walking and i didn't want people staring or thinking she was lazy but dd2 loves it and she's not squashed up like she is in her Maclaren quest. I only really got it to use for the summer when we go on trips out as it makes life easier for me (less time chasing dd and keeping her safe).

I'd go with MB too, my DD1 can still sit in DD2's one. But we are selling it, if anyone needs one before i stick it on ebay.

We have a SN mountain buggy, and a compatible buggy board. DD1 in the buggy, DD2 on the board from about 18months though was only really reliable on it from about 2. Because they are so robust, DD2 also quite often sits on top of DD1 in the seat. DD1 doesn't mind, because she is utterly uninterested in the scenery and at least DD2 is nice and warm.

Lisa is yours a single or a double and how much are you looking for it?

single, its in plum colour, with sunshade, bumper bar and raincover £220 posted, as back wheels could do with replacing but are still ok to use.

You'd be better off with something with air tyres tbh. I had a BJCM, and although DS2 fitted in it, his legs were a bit squashed and a bit heavy to push. I ended up with Baby Jogger City Elite, and the seat is huge and loads more leg room plus so light to push. Seats more comfortable as well. Or a Phil and Ted twin is good as well, had one of those briefly.
