oh MABs :( sorry to read you have gone through this.

dd3 has paed appointment next week about her bladder issues. i know this is one thing they consider as a last resort for her potential issues.

hope ds is recovering well, and pain is under control.

we are the first stages. leaking, irregular bedwetting, water infections. kindeys all fine, but scan revealed small baldder, paed seeing dd3 next week. am sh*tting it as never suspected anything. am hoping its something that can sorted non-sugeically. she is 5years old.

where are you? Evalina hospital at St Thomas hospital in london are without doubt the best in this field, Dr Anne Wright is marvellous. If you do feel there really is a problem, i wouls ask to be referred to her.

we are herts. tbh i am stil lgetting my head around it, and am hoping iyts a case of just checking her over and sending her on her way iyswim. it started over the summer with recurrent UTI's. the radiologist found she had a small bladder, then had letter from GP saying all is fine, but will check with paeds if they wanted to see her regarding the bladder. i thought nothing of it, then paed sent a letter saying they want to see her. so i am all confused and hoping its just a check up and nothing more iyswim.

see exactly what you mean, just let me know if you need any advice at all

will do :) will put a shout out on here next week if paed wants further things done :)

but best of luck to you and your ds. from reading there is no actual support group for people who have had this done, but the spina bifitda (sp) asssiciation is very good, as its a more comman surgery for those with SB.

thanks misdee
