I'm trying to find a cheap holiday online (but not getting anywhere), need somewhere quite as Dh (possible AS) can't stand any noise and both dd's have AS/ASD. Last year we went to Park resort (isle of wight) and had to come home early due to noisy students in caravan next to us .

So where are you going on holiday this year?

Can anyone recommend a holiday?

We want to stay in the UK, maybe Devon, Cornwall area (we live in Dorset so we don't want to drive too far).

Different SN from yours, but we've been renting private cottages for the last few years. That way you are not troubled by other people's holidaying. Last year, we rented a cottage on a farm on Dartmoor- lovely!; the year before, one in Herefordshire. This year we're going to Brittany (renting cottage through Brittany ferries).

If you want to use a hotel as a base then we find Travelodge pretty good, rarely any noise problems.

Butlins for four days. Everything on site, so lots of structure and a quiet place to go with the apartment if things get too much for the lads.

we always do a hoseasons holiday lodge with ds, who has CP.
we have been to north wales, cornwall, north yorkshire, east yorkshire and this year its south west scotland.
we've never been bothered with noise as the lodges are all a good distance apart, in nice wooded areas etc and the prices are reasonable as its per lodge not per person.

We're going to Burrowhayes camp site on Exmoor at Easter - staying in our campervan but they have static caravans on site. Taking DS2, who has ASD, so can give it the once-over for you, if you like? I think it's supposed to be pretty quiet, in a beautiful area. Has riding stables attached, if any of your DCs like riding (DS2 does).
