DD is 17 months and cant get up from lying down, she can only roll onto her front but not back ahain or pull herself up against things, but she can bum-shuffle for britain! She isnt walking yet but her legs are strong enough to support her standing against things.

My DS2 has ASD and Dyspraxia and although I am not really worried about DD - she is quite the social baby and points, claps, copies etc, I do think about some of DS2's problems in the back of my mind, and I am worried a little.

Can anyone set my mind at rest. We are also seeing the same Paed we see for DS, wh is lovely, but I dont want her to think I am a bit loopy!

Sounds like more of a physical issue - low tone in trunk/hypermobility/hips etc. Bum shufflers often have weaker trunk muscles hence this way of getting around. Bum shuffling also runs in families - hope I'm putting your mind at rest a little....
