Anyone recommend a laminator?

Ours is a cheapie cheapie one from Tesco which is fine but only takes very thin paper and thin Tesco brand laminator pouches. Anything more challenging, you have to get the iron out. (Yes, you can iron laminator pouches, if desperate. Hot iron, no steam.)

Anyhoo - want something more robust that will take thicker pouches etc. But not one of those A3 things that costs thousands. Any ideas?

Go to viking direct on the internet, i got a laminator and 3 boxes of puches for about £25. Have more than enough pouches to last a long time

I was laminating on my cheapie yesterday and its not really that good so I was thinking about this. Great tip about using the iron, makes sense but I never thought of it. Years ago I had a lovely Rexel from Viking that cost about £100 (it would probably be less now) and someone at DS's school broke it, I still lament its death! I think I will have a look at Viking but I have to say, that Rexel (A3) was fantastic, boo hoo. I suppose I did a lot more laminating then, DS's school will make anything for me now but I do like to be able to do some myself as I sometimes have different ideas of what picture makes most sense iyswim.
