Hi everyone
DS has a rare brain disorder, from this he has right hemiplegia. Whole of right side affected.
For a while now we have noticed his left hand sometimes seems a little awkward (sorry but not quite sure how else to describe it).
I mentioned it to his physio a few wks ago and after looking back at a few recordings of ds she agreed with me. but didnt really say much else. He can use it great, he eats, uses a cup, draws (although quite lightly) but sometimes he holds it a little stiff when reaching out for things.
Anyhow, my question is do you think this will change his hemi dx or will stay same? I am pressuming the physio will report back to our paed. Not much was said really, just the usual wait and see kind of thing but as usual since this finding, the questions are popping up in my head
So far his left leg seems ok. He is now 2.
Thanks for reading.
