Is there much of a cross over with dyspraxia and ASD?

We have always seen DD1 as having "mild" AS. Most things seem to fit, but not all. Comm paed was hell and I gave up looking for answers.

Mumofmonsters showed me this link earlier, and a hell of a lot of the dyspraxia stuff fits.

Her teacher agrees that she is not quite NT, but not too sure what iyswim.

It is always the empathy that is the main stumbling block with AS as she has gotten a lot better with it over time.

Looking at the dyspraxia, I'm now wondering if it is a mix of both, which is why it always seems a bit fuzzy, but I was wondering if they are often linked - thinking venn diagram type style

Yes there's crossover. The book a positive approach to autism by Stella waterhouse describes that crossover well and in lots of detail.

Yes, dd1 shows signs of AS and Dyspraxia although she only has a dx of AS.
