well we won if that helps

We won too.

I think it is easier to say in words that put down in writing what life is like.

what do you do? do you just stand there and talk about what life is like? will they ask what level we want? I only want mid rate care, thats it.
DD1 has HFA

I won as well. They didn't ask what level I was seeking but then again it was obvious as all my paperwork referred to high rate mobility repeatedly. I agree with tibni - much easier to say it than put it into letters. I found the panel OK but didn't need to say much as my case rested on a very specific narrow legal issue which could only be resolved by J's consultant writing to them after an adjournment. I would get as much as you can in writing off any professionals involved with your dc to back up what you're going to be saying. It was a better experience than the forms or phone calls, definitely!

ds is very LF ASD. We were originally awarded mid care and lower mobility; this was changed to higher on both.

As well as the panel we had a rep from DWP; they attend a set number of appeals but didn't question me in the end.

Questions were on daily life.

Hope this helps
