The little girl I work with has ASD. I started working with her 3 years ago, when she was three and wouldn't give up her bottle, barely walked or spoke, and basically screamed from the time she got to school til she left on the van (and for all I know, screamed all the way home.)

Today, I teared up watching her stand with all the other first graders and say her lines in the school play. There is no emoticon for what I feel right now, just doesn't cut it.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with all of you, because no one else in that auditorium besides her mother realized they were witnessing a miracle.
