she got in from school and has eaten a packet of quavers, a sandwich (i slice) and 2 apple pies and custard, and a rolo pudding.
she has a hot meal at school at lunch and snacks during the day (and a good breakie)
now she is whinging for her snack................................

Ooh, what's a rolo pudding? Never encountered one of those and it sounds good! (Poor deprived foreigner, me!!)

Oh I used to eat like a pig when I was 14: used to get in from school and eat a packet of biscuits washed down with 2 pints of milk, before going to have a full dinner - I was a size 10 for nearly 2 decades after (alas, past-tense now!). Soz, assumed it was a tiddler running round the playground she is undoubtedly having a growth-spurt and laying down puppy-fat! In case she suddenly stops growing at 18 and keeps up the calories from habit, maybe encourage nuts, bananas and toast . . . ?
