What a relief! I hope you gave them a right boll*ing for scaring you like that. So pleased everything is as you expected.

What a terrible typo to make!! Phew!

fio2 · 16/06/2003 18:05

Releived for you. Didnt like to say before but my sister got sent a letter off the hospital by accident. It was 18 months after she had a heart/lung transplant and she'd been in Papworth hospital with an unusual form of rejection. When she got home she received a letter from the hospital saying they didnt expect her transplant to last any more than 6 months and she should seriously consider a 2nd transplant. The letter was suposed to go to her consultant at B'ham so he could discuss it with her but instead it turned up on her doorstep. It was a terrible shock for her.

Mieow, this is good news. But awful that you've been subjected to a weekend of worry as a result of someone's terrible typing.

MABS · 16/06/2003 18:44

Thank God Mieow, my ds has PVL and CP too and I know how i'd have felt if i'd got that letter. So very pleased for you both. xxx

glad to hear it was a typo although as others have said - I would have gone ballistic when I found that out... after stressing about it all weekend.

JJ · 16/06/2003 23:09

Mieow, I was thinking of you today. I'm so glad it was a typo... brainless twits, though, to mess up a report like that.

lou33 · 17/06/2003 01:04

Ooh Mieow, Mabs shall we start a PVL/CP club?!

Ghosty · 17/06/2003 02:41

Mieow ... just caught up with this thread ... what a shock you have had ... I am thinking of you and am so relieved that it was a typo .... hugs {{{{}}}}

The secatuary (SP??) said that either the doctor ditated the letter wrong or she made a mistake when typing it up. She was very sorry about it though. To be honest i was so happy that Bethan didn't have Leukodystrophy, that I didn't even have a go........
