ds had a massive vomit last night, first one since his fundo redo and just shortly after he had had his night time drugs, so woke at 2.30am, has only slept an hour since and is a grumpy wee shite!
hoping this puking and getting up early lark isnt his new years resolution!
pretty knackered now and am currently scoffing the jelly tots from his selection box and watching the muppets wizard of oz movie.....oh joy!

Poor boy - perhaps his new grand prix DVD will cheer him up ?

I think they've all got varying degress of under-the-weatherness at the mo.
DS is bunged up and snivvly (a la cuddles the monkey) STILL coughing, dribbly and pukey, but that's a lot better than he has been.
That said, right now he is rolling and giggling on the floor while we try to watch the darts.

Lets hope they're all better soon - till then I reckon we deserve a share of their goodies x

Sorry Glittery It can only improve right?

I just got home from a 10 hour flight to find a range of very annoying letters from various council departments, - so here we go again. No change for the change of year!

still not sleeping well but TBF thats been ongoing for a few weeks now since they discontinued his Triclofos (alcohol based hypnotic) because of a manufacturing problem and replaced it with Phenergan (antihistamine).... sooo not the same drug!
GP not confident enough to prescribe anything stronger and neuro will just push even more for the Baclofen pump if i complain of sleeping/spasm issues.

he's getting more dystonic spasms than normal which can happen when he isnt sleeping well so dont know if its a build up from the change in drugs or if he is indeed coming down with something?

he was grumpy all day yesterday but then fell asleep on the couch for over 2 hours and when he woke he was right as rain!

woke 4 times last night but didnt seem tight and spasmy when i went into him and i'm wondering if he's having bad dreams or something...eyes shut and screamy??

going thru all the various limbs etc asking him if anythings sore and he's "saying" no and doesnt seem to have a cold or anything so i dunno, usually just leave him for a bit and see if anything develops as he's not "ill" enough for a trip to A&E and to be honest the waiting about then prodding about would probably just make him worse

quite annoyed too as im going to have to cancel our trip down to Cambridge to pick up his powerchair again as the weathers just not clearing and i fancy even less the 750 miles round trip in shitey weather with a grumpy, possibly coming down with somethiing, boy! can just imagine getting stuck in the snow and having to turn the engine and hence DVD off!!

oh and the formula one dvd is a permanent feature at the moment, roll on back to school Tuesday!!!

yeah we're pretty lucky with that!
he can sometimes say as well what hurts, if you can work out what he means!
when i asked him a few weeks ago if he had sore legs he said "uh huh and head" this isnt a very usual occurence right enough and entirely dependant on how the dystonia is affecting him at the time.
he has also started deciding for himself when he needs his inhalers, he will generally take them when he is feeling ill but refuse and gag/puke etc if he thinks he doesnt need them so now i ask him in the morning if he thinks he needs them or not and he will indicate yes if he thinks he does which is fab!

since my last posts he has now started coughing up yellow phlegm so looks like something brewing right enough!
