Thought I would share !

He has bought him a cheap(ish - £25) Digital photo frame and has spent two days taking pictures of all DS2's very fav things to put into a slideshow for him.
He can have it next to his bed

It may not be ideal for all but I thought it was a great idea for visual children who have fav stuff and maybe trouble calming down for sleep...

Thanks for sharing, that is a good idea. Was looking into getting some sort of lighting visual lamp for DS but as the sensory toys i got for him seem to make him more hyper, this could do really well for my DS too.
I imagine him lokking at pics of 'thomas the tank, Mario, his trampoline, his dvd collection,...'

The more i think about it the more i like this idea...thumbs up to your ds1!

FAB!!!

What a nice brother.

Those are exactly the pictures DS1 has taken ! - DS2s bed, his plush toy, the christmas tree, his advent calendar, his DVDs

It is oddly sweet when you see it on the slideshow.

fab idea.

I do a (similar) thing for dd1, just not so high tec as yet.

whenever Bonusprint have an offer on for a free A5 photobook (happens every couple of months) I get one made up for her with pictures of recent holidays, or days out, etc.

She loves leafing through them, and we're just waiting for the time when we could trust her a little more with somethign like a digital frame - don't think she'd "get" that she couldn't pick it up to look at it if it was in an accessible place for her!

Yes, super idea.
Those frames are bloody brilliant.

you can get keyring ones too (I know vtech do one which I assume is quite robust - the vtech kidizoom camera has withstood tough love from dd1)

might be useful as a de-stresser when out and about?

wow that's a brilliant idea my DS (asd) would love this, he is always making me take pictures of inanimate objects that he loves on my camera phone then asking to see them
