A good guide to AS online for extended family?

DD (8) is possibly AS. The ed psych thinks she is but she scored 28.5 on the CARS test so can't be dx. She 'gets' sarcasm and has a very vivid imagination but sometimes I see definite AS traits, mainly with behaviourial issues and not coping with change etc.

We are going on holiday for new year with my family. There will be 23 adults and children in one chalet including some of my dad's girlfriend's family. And I'm dreading it.

Usually DD takes a couple of days to settle into a new place when we go on holiday; new bed, new routine etc. She finds it all very unsettling which results in some wild tantrums at the beginning of the holiday. There's also going to be the issue of fixed mealtimes with fixed menus (she's very bad at eating) as it's a catered chalet and I know she's going to struggle with the lack of control she has in an unfamiliar situation.

So basically, I want to send something to my family for them to read about AS and relating to DD's difficulties and to try and bear this in mind. I don't want them, particularly my step-mum's family who I don't know very well, to think badly of DD or us for being rubbish parents. I also want to try and minimise the stress for everyone and might achieve this if they understand her a bit more.

I don't really want a book as a) I can't afford to send one to everyone and b) some of them wouldn't read it unless it was in an email!

Thanks.
