ABA is REALLY stressful.
It is hard having tutors in our tiny house, it's hard keeping the other children out of the way. When ds is uncooperative & just wants me it a) breaks my heart b) makes me wince at the £££ lost on a bad session. The financial burden is massive - we're doing far fewer hours than we should do because of the cost - which leads me to question if there is any point in doing the hours we are.
He is making progress but is that because of ABA? We don't do any table top - all NET. He is still massively avoidant, with limited instructional control. We've given up doing anything like a traditional programme
(hiding upstairs with the baby while listening to ds screaming at his tutor and dh trying to stop him running away)
