I'm looking for advice, idea and help.

My 10 year old has dyspraxia, ADHD and autisic spectrum discorder.
My 7 year old has ADHD and Oppositional Defiant disorder.
My 6 year year is part deaf in one.

Also been told by my health visitor that my youngest two could have some form of autism.

I have a list of website which i can find information. I'm trying to find people who have children with similar problems.

And hoping to share information on how to deal with the day to day life.

OMG, you have 5 children and all have possible SN?! You indeed have your hands full. I don't have all the answers, but I know medications such as strattera or concerta work well for some ADHD kids, melatonin has worked wonders for my (ASD) son's sleep issues, fish oils can be good for hyperactivity and I also recommend ABA for teaching autistic kids to talk and to behave better. Do you get any help or respite? Have you been through statementing? Big hug to you!

They have just reach a diagonis with the eldest two, still in the process of talking regarding mediciation.

I've done the change of diet and omega 3 oils.

Thanks for the info on different medications. will look into them.

Hi, welcome to mn, you will def get lots of support here.

I have four children, but only one with sn. He has dyspraxia, hypermobility syndrome, some sort of undiagnosed muscular-skeletal issue, and is now heading for an autism diagnosis.

Have you found any local charities that can help support you? I've found help mostly that way, ds1 gets respite through local charities, and other activities, which helps me cope day to day. If you have Aiming High for disabled children in your area, they can be a great source of information.

Cerebra do a free postal lending library where you can get books about different sn and related issues.
