My babysitter has been on the 'sleep training course' aimed at children with additional needs and it all sounds just very common sense and nothing that you probably haven't tried or thought of yourself.

Thanks,

so it just somebody that will state the obvious.

I have tried the warm milk, baths, lavendar oil ect. havent tried the metolin(sp?) as neuro said it would only make dd go to sleep not stop her from waking.

They may be informed about other medication for sleeping. Melatonin isn't the only one. Also, other strategies like Safe Spaces etc. Worth a try in case it's helpful

thanks donkey,
what is a safe space?

try this

That't the travelling one. There should be links to the permanent ones too. It's a bit of a last resort I imagine

thanks donkey.
will see what they say, do they do home visits or is it a clinic that we attend.
