Sign me up for the laminating circle. You can practice your velcroing techniques on ds2 - starting with the mouth and feet. That should keep him still and quiet enough for me to get on with my laminating.

I think what is niggling me is that my parents moved house alot- and i ended up going to 11 schools. So....though i'm moving schools FOR MY BOY'S BENEFIT....and i know that's different to my parents moving FOR THEIR BENEFIT...i am worried that NOWHERE will be good enough.

But i just keep going over and over the positives with the school with the unit attatched...surely playground time will be a beeter supported environment...as the 'unit' children join in with playtimes etc....so logic tells me that if say 1o children are supported 1:1 or there abouts ...then that's maybe 10 adults 'extra' in the playground who are very ASD aware...and though not there for MY sons...the mere fact that they ARE there means some of what has been happening to Leigh at lunchtimes shouldn't go unnoticed.

For me it's like the staff there will see things through "ASD tinted sunglasses"

Agree MrsF - the school sounds so right for your boys. The school will be more aware of your sons needs. I know what you are saying about the journey as I have this problem now too, but definitely sounds like it is worth it. Just great that a school will view your ds's for who they are and not see them as a "problem". Great news!!! x
