Advice on dealing with a child at school....

I don't know if the boy has SN or is simply over friendly/lacking in boundaries iyswim, but when I drop DD off there is a boy that knows that one day DS was wearing an omnitrix. Now every time he sees him he is crowding him, talking into his face asking where it is/if he can see it/if he can play with it.

DS is only 3 and a small 3 and is starting to look quite scared by it

I don't really know how to handle the situation. Am I best alerting someone in charge (it is at breakfast club, so no parent) to intervene or something? I'm guessing that they will know him and whatever SN/differences he may have?

I feel like I don't want to upset the boy, but at the same time I don't want mine upset either iyswim. DS was so happy the day that he got all excited about his toy with him, but at the same time he is just looking a bit freaked out now and backing away.

You don't need to deal with it-just politely ask to have a word with whoever runs the breakfast club and ask them to deal with it.

Oh yes...what flame says ...if your child is becoming uncomfortable...
What's a omnitrix btw?

oh dear, is it my DS? My boy is like that, it mortifies me everytime he does something like this.

I would just say to him, "please don't get so close". My ds does this also and I don't really like it, but it is harmless. He responds if asked him to step back.

TBH I think omnitrix's have that affect on small boys whether NT or with SN. It's the sort of toy I wouldn't send into school really because I think it just leads to much coveting from the others (even if they have their own at home) and causes fights.

Just say 'oh he's not bringing it to school anymore, we've left the aliens at home' or something.

Actually I'm not quite right DS1 with SN couldn't give the remotest stuff about an omnitrix! (Or whatever else the latest thing is). NT DS2 and DS3 pass out when they see one, despite having a variety of their own .
