Fraser (2.3 - language delay) just came up to me and asked me for a 'gink' - his word for drink.

He has been asking for th last couple of weeks but only if he has his cup as a visual clue, but today he didnt even have his cup - just came up to me!

I know its the smallest thing in the world, I rang my DH and he thought I was crazy, but I know that most of you will understand!

Ben (3 and a half, autism) didnt call me mum unitlo just after 3yrs old, now he wont call me mum as my name is jenny so it didnt last long but i heard mummy from him so it meant the world. These small steps are fab and they are big, hope more to come for you xx

I can totally relate to that feeling!
