This is what I've heard all weekend since DS2 came home from school on Friday. Its driving me crazy. He keeps lifting his top up and doing it with his hand. Aaaaaaarghhhh.

LOl, that is actually quite cute, but I can see how it would be irritating.

Oh now that is cute! How old is he?

He stopped with the in out, but only because he had his hair washed tonight, which he hates and spent the last hour before bed saying "naughty mammy"

he does make me smile though. His language over the past month has come on so well (he is 3.8). His older brother is into telling jokes, and ds2 seems to like the reaction ds1 gets, so he has been saying this

DS2: Knock Knock
Me: Who's there
DS2: Poonana (banana)
Me: Banana who
DS2 now in fits of giggles at this point.

We are getting repeated renditions of Row Row Row Your Boat - or more often the same line repeated over and over again

Row, row, row a boaTA
Ge'ly dow a streaMA
Mer mer mer mer
Li is bu a dreaMA

Not quite sure where the Italian intonation comes from

5inthebed · 05/05/2009 07:53

lol at the Italian intonation

We are back to in, out.I'm wondering if he has been doing the Hokey Cokey at school?

If you will excuse me, the correct Italian intonation would be:
Roaoa, roaoa, roaoa your boat,
gehently down the streem,
merreely, merreely, merreely, merreely,
life is but eh dreeem
Tut tut, and congratulations to sphil jr for a creative rendition of a classic

lol

We are having repetitive snorting (it's driving me nuts!). We've nicknamed ds2 pepperami pig. He's not pleased.

Today we've moved on to 'Oh yes!'. SALT was here earlier and was very impressed when I asked DS2 if he'd washed his hands after going to the loo and he replied 'Oh yes!' Her smile gradually faded as he said it twenty more times...
